Up there, that's Peppa - and she's a nutter. She's 8 now and so classed as a senior dog (don't tell her!) but you wouldn't know it :)
Whether she's frantically chasing a tennis ball or randomly jumping in lakes and rivers, she's not about to put her feet up yet!
She's a delight (and a pain!) in every aspect of her life - except one. She is a nightmare with food. We've had her for 3 years now and we've tried everything - dry food, wet food, raw diet, food that cost a fortune from the internet, you name it, we've tried it. Some she point blank refuses to eat, others she eats for a few days and then decides she doesn't like it any more. It's like having a recalcitrant toddler at time.
So when IAMS offered me the chance to try out their new IAMS for Vitality Lamb and Chicken dry food, I have to be honest and say I wasn't holding out much hope.
But hey, it was free, so why not give it a go?
Well I was definitely wrong! From the moment I opened the bag she was interested, and was very happy to eat it for her evening meal that day (I'm lucky that Peppa doesn't suffer when switching dog foods, but if you're going to do it then it's always best to do it gradually just in case - no-one wants to be picking up dodgy tummy poos!)
I was still a little sceptical, but decided to keep giving it to her - and she kept on eating it! And weeks later, still is, to the point where I've had to put the bag on top of the fridge to stop her trying to snaffle it when I'm not lookin! I'd say that's a success, but not only because it's something she'll eat: it's also good for her!
IAMS say:
IAMS for Vitality small and medium breed adult dog food is 100% complete and balanced expert nutrition to help support your dog’s 7 signs of healthy vitality. All of this packed into a tasty recipe with 80% animal protein (out of total protein) for your pet to enjoy every day.
Available in 800g, 2kg, 5kg, 12kg
I'll definitely be buying this again, in the knowledge that not only does she like it, it's doing her good, easy to find in most supermarkets, and not too heavy on the pocket either!
