Get 500 bonus points when you sign up for Swagbucks in November!

All throughout November you can earn large bonuses from Swagbucks

Swagbucks is a rewards site where you earn points (called SB) for things you're probably doing online already, like searching, watching videos, discovering deals, and taking surveys. Then you take those points and exchange them for gift cards to places like Amazon, Starbucks, or PayPal cash.

When you sign up through me this month, you can earn a 500 SB bonus! Here's how:

1. Sign up using this link  - use email sign up not Facebook to be sure of getting the bonus
2. Earn 500 SB total before 01/12/2018. You'll get a 500 SB bonus for it (the bonus will be applied the following month)!

3. That's it. It's super easy, and Swagbucks is for real. I use it myself, and I've earned over £4000 from it and other sites in 2017!

*** Expert tip - use the website, not just the app - you'll earn more! ***

Sign up now then grab me on Facebook and I'll give you a few hints and tips to help you on your way!

Spooky Fun with the October Shop Swago Board

Swagbucks is hosting another round of Shop Swago! What is SWAGO you ask? It's a bingo-inspired promotion run by Swagbucks, a website that rewards you with points (called SB) for completing everyday online activities. You can redeem those SB for free gift cards. If you've never used Swagbucks, participating in SWAGO is a great introduction to the site and an easy way to earn a good amount of points quickly.

Here’s what you need to know to get your 50 SB Bonus (and don’t worry, you don’t have to make a purchase to complete a pattern):
  • Go to the Swago page and make sure you hit “Join” otherwise you won’t get credit for completing the action items. Each square on your Swago Board will contain an action item to complete.
  • Once you complete the action item in a particular square the square will change color signifying the action item is complete.
  • You have a limited amount of time to mark off as many squares as possible so use your time wisely.
  • Be mindful of the patterns and their corresponding bonuses located on the right of your Swago Board. The patterns will vary in difficulty and bonus value.
  • Once you’ve achieved a pattern the corresponding “Submit” button will light up. You can have multiple patterns available for submission, however, you can only submit ONE pattern so choose wisely.
  • The game ends Friday, October 12th at 12pm PDT/3pm EDT. So make sure to hit “Submit” on the pattern you wish to submit. If you don’t hit “Submit” before the game ends you won’t receive your SB bonus.

Swagbucks To-Do list updated

I really wish I could share good news with you about Swagbucks. It was the first site most of us started with and I know a lot of you still love it.
But it’s more bad news for mobile users, I’m afraid.
As of today it seems that as Ncraves isn’t working for a lot of people, it’s been replaced in the To-Do list with a Swagbutton point.
As a mobile user, this means you won’t be able to complete the To-Do list, although if you have a laptop you will by installing the Swagbutton.
The good news is, the point is added automatically if you’re a laptop/computer user, so you don’t need to do anything.
But it does seem to be another swipe at the mobile only users, so a lot of people won’t be happy.
Just another day in the declining points of Swagbucks, folks!

More Swagbucks cuts - is it still worth it?

I used to love Swagbucks, I really did – and I still think it’s a great way to earn. But I can’t deny that it’s getting more and more difficult to earn as much as before while spending the same amount of time on the site.
2018 has seen them bring in more and more cuts in the ways in which we can earn.
They’ve:
  • Increased the daily goals
  • Decreased the daily goal bonuses (they used to be 10% now they’re often less)
  • Made it more difficult to get search wins, and also reduced the average amount of SB on those search wins
  • Reduced the amount of SB you can get from the video apps from 70sb (Android) to 34sb a day
  • Reduced ToolbarTV from around 20sb a day to 4 or 5sb a day
  • Reduced Extravaganza amounts from around 40sb to 35sb
  • Reduced the daily to do list bonus, despite telling us they were increasing
  • Removed the 1sb from the Daily Deal
  • Made it so that we can only redeem the Swagcode from the Swagbutton or the mobile app
  • Made it difficult to earn anything from Swago unless you have both a mobile and a computer
  • Reduced iSpy from around 20sb to 16sb
And here comes yet another cut:

Another one?

Yes another one.
As of now, the previously weekly iSpy will now only be held on the last Tuesday of the month.
So instead of being able to collect 16sb every Tuesday, now we’ll only be able to earn 16sb once a month.
That’s a loss of around 48sb a month – I know it doesn’t sound like much but when you add up all the small ways that sb are being taken away, it soon adds up.
It means that to earn the same, we have to work harder and spend more time on the site.

Well that sucks!

It does, but it’s not all doom and gloom, honestly. There are still some great ways to earn on the site and it IS still possible to hit goal every day and earn bonuses.
But, still being honest, I find myself spending less time there and more time on InstaGCEarnably and Branded Surveys and as such my earnings there have gone up dramatically.
What have you done to make up the Swagbucks shortfall? Come and tell us in the Facebook Group.

Shopping Swago time again!

The digital rewards site Swagbucks is offering big payouts during their July Swago board, which runs from July 9th through Monday, July 16th! Swago is just like bingo, but in this case you're filling out squares as you earn points on their site for doing things you already do online. If you're thinking of trying Swagbucks, this is a great chance to learn all about how the site works and earn bonus points while doing it, meaning you can get more gift cards faster. Here are a few tips:

  • You have until 6pm UK time on Monday, July 16th to mark off as many squares as possible so use your time wisely.

  • Be mindful of the patterns and their corresponding bonuses located on the right of your Swago Board. The patterns will vary in difficulty and bonus value. Once you’ve achieved a pattern, the corresponding “Submit” button will light up. You can have multiple patterns available for submission, however, you can only submit ONE pattern so choose wisely.
  • Each activity you successfully complete on your Swago Board will give you anywhere from 1-20 spins on the Spin & Win Wheel. The wheel has all sorts of great prizes that you can win, and each spin is a winner!

The Spin & Win Wheel will be available all throughout Swago and you have until 8am UK time on Tuesday, July 17th to use all your spins.

It's April Fool's Day on Swagbucks - have you found the 0SB Collector's Bill?

They do love a good joke over at Swagbucks, and it seems as if April Fool's Day is no exception.

Keep your eyes peeled today for an 'amusing' 0SB Collector's Bill when you're searching the web.

Don't panic though, your searching won't be in vain - the bill is actually worth 18SB with a 5SB bonus, so a nice 23SB for giving us all a heart attack ;)

Have you found it yet?

Here's what you need to know about Collcetor's Bills:

How Do I Get Collector’s Bills?
It’s simple. Search the web through the Swagbucks search today, April 1st 2018, and when you get a search win, you may get a special Collector’s Bill valued at 18SB. It'll look like this:

What happens when I get a Collector’s Bill?
When you get a Collector’s Bill you’ll receive the value of the bill and the bill will be added to your “Collector’s Bills” ledger. Collect the April Fool's Collector’s Bill and you’ll instantly earn a 5 SB Bonus!
Is it possible to collect the same Collector’s Bills multiple times?
Yes, you could collect any of the Collector’s Bills multiple times.
What happens if I get all of the Collector's Bills?
This time round there's only one to collect!
Where do I find the Collector's Bills I have won?
They'll be in your Activity tab, under Collector's Bills

Remember, search wins are random and based upon the amount of searches you do and the time of day and not necessarily the search term you use. Try to use search naturally, ensuring that you click on results occasionally, as you would if you were searching in day to day life. If the Swagbucks algorithm thinks you are searching unnaturally, you could be banned from searching for a while, and no-one wants that!
Keep an eye on our Facebook Group, as when someone posts they've had a search win, it's often a good time to try a few searches and see if you win.

Changes to Swagbucks' Swag Codes - must read!

So, it seems that the folks at Swagbucks are making a few changes to the way in which Swagcodes are sent out.

I've copied their blog post below but the TLDR version is:

  • Swagcodes can now appear at any time between 12PM UK time (7am PT / 10am ET) and 10PM UK time (5pm PT / 8pm ET) - which means that we can no longer rely on them being posted around 5pm UK time.
  • There will be 3 types of Swagcode - Static (the one we're used to ), Stealth (the ones they've been doing daily recently) and Linked. Linked appears to be a new one for the UK, they say: Sometimes we will release two linked Swag Codes at the same time. That means you will only be able to redeem one of the two Swag Codes. Just think of it as a fun little poll. These Swag Codes are also case-sensitive so make sure you capitalize the characters capitalized in the Swag Code Alert.
So what does that mean for us? Well, it's not the end of the world, but you need to be more vigilant than ever when it comes to keeping up with the Swagcodes, as it's not guaranteed when they will appear or which form they will take.

How can I make sure I don't miss a code?

The easiest way is to subscribe to notifications on our Swagcode thread in the UK Swagbucks & More Facebook group.

There are other ways to keep up with the codes and Hannah details them here.

For your reference, here is the post from Swagbucks - you can read it on their own blog here.

Every day Swagbucks offers new ways to earn SB! Whether you are a seasoned Swagbucks veteran or a Swagbucks newbie these Swagbucks Tips & Tricks might just be what gets you to that next Gift Card redemption. Today’s topic, redeeming Swag Codes.

What are Swag Codes?

I’m sure most of you are already familiar with Swag Codes, but for those who are new here is a quick explanation. Swag Codes are strings of text that you can redeem for instant SB. Each Swag Code is worth a certain number of SB and is only available within a specific time frame. Swag Codes will vary in SB value, ranging from 2-3 SB, with higher amounts during Swag Code Extravaganzas and special promotions.

What are the different types of Swag Codes?

  • Static Codes– These codes are universal and can be found and shared easily.
  • Stealth Swag Codes – Unlike Static Swag Codes, these cannot be shared because every user gets a different Swag Code. Stealth Swag Codes are one-time use unique Swag Codes. They look a little longer than normal Swag Codes but they are just as rewarding.
  • Linked Swag Codes – Sometimes we will release two linked Swag Codes at the same time. That means you will only be able to redeem one of the two Swag Codes. Just think of it as a fun little poll. These Swag Codes are also case-sensitive so make sure you capitalize the characters capitalized in the Swag Code Alert.

Where do I look for Swag Codes?

We know what you’re thinking, where can you find these Swag Codes? Swag Codes are hidden in the different earning opportunities on Swagbucks as well as Swagbucks social profiles including FacebookTwitter, and Instagram.
There are three main ways that we notify members when a Swag Code is live.
  1. The Swagbucks Facebook Page: Swag Code alerts are always available on the Swagbucks Facebook Page. When the Swag Code goes live a post on Facebook will either include the Swag Code or direct you where to go. There is also a feature on Facebook to turn on notifications for specific pages.
  2. SwagButton – The SwagButton is a browser extension that can be added to Google Chrome, Firefox, and Internet Explorer. If you have the SwagButton installed you will get an alert on the top right of your browser directing you where to go when a Swag Code is live. That’s just one of many perks of installing the SwagButton!
  3. Swagbucks Mobile App – As long as you enable push notifications on the Swagbucks Mobile App you will receive push notifications when a Swag Code goes live. The Swagbucks Mobile App is available for both iOS and Android devices and has many other ways to earn SB.

How do I redeem Swag Codes?

Most Swag Codes can be redeemed in one of three ways:
  1. Swag Code box – Take a look at the header on Swagbucks on desktop. See that little dial in the center that says Swag Code on it? Click on it and either type or copy and paste the Swag Code and click “Redeem”. Your SB will instantly be credited to your account.
  2. SwagButton – If you have the SwagButton browser extension simply click on the Swagbucks logo on the top right of your browser window, then click on Swag Code and type or copy and paste the Swag Code and click “Redeem Swag Code”. That’s it, instant SB.
  3. Swagbucks Mobile App – Assuming you have the Swagbucks Mobile App installed on your mobile device simply open the app and click on the lock dial icon on the top right (to the left of the search icon). Type in your Swag Code and the SB are yours.

For all of our veteran Swag Code Redeemers, here’s some new information:

New Times:
To help get everyone involved in these very rewarding codes, we’re spreading the love to other times of day. A Swag Codes can go live anytime between 7AM PT/10AM ET and 5PM PT/8PM ET. Make sure you have your notifications set up so you don’t miss out on a Swag Code!
That sure was a lot of information about Swag Codes but there is still more to know. Don’t worry Swaggernauts, once I’m done with you, you won’t ever miss another Swag Code.
Swagbucks Pro-Tip:
When redeeming a Stealth Swag Code it is preferable to copy and paste it into the Swag Code box. Also, make sure when copying and pasting that you don’t include an extra space.
Well now that you’re a Swag Code expert, go out there and earn! Stay tuned for more Tips & Tricks every week!

I need a quick & easy earner and I need it now!

I hear it all the time in our Facebook group - at least 3 times a week someone posts "What are the quick and easy earners?" or "I need to make £20 by Friday - what can you recommend that takes no time?" I probably did it myself when I started doing GPT (Get Paid TO) sites.

There are loads of variations on the above two questions, but a lot of people want something that:

a) Takes up no time

b) Pays well

c) They can earn quickly from, and

d) Is easy

And don't get me wrong, you'll get loads of suggestions. And you'll get all excited and sign up to a million sites and apps. And then you'll be disappointed.

I'm going to let you into a secret - when you start out, these sites and apps AREN'T easy. They're often not quick. And until you get into a routine, they don't pay that well.

When I first started on Swagbucks, I made £5 in my  first month or so, and I dread to think how much time I spent on it. Now, I can easily make £200 in a good month from Swagbucks doing about half an hour active stuff a day.

The first time I looked at InstaGC, I thought everyone was lying about how much they made. It took me ages to properly look into it as it seemed such a low earner, especially compared to Swagbucks.

Mintvine confused the hell out of me, seemed boring as hell and then did it all to me again when it turned into Branded Surveys.

I couldn't see the point in apps that you send pictures of your shopping receipts to (and still refuse to do them as I don't have the patience).

People loved InboxPounds - I hated it and only ever cashed out once, which took forever.

BUT, as soon as I realised that, like any new job, these sites and apps have a learning curve, and you need to work each one out, read as much as you can and get advice from other people that DO know what they're doing, I started earning.

In 2016 I made around £1800 from GPT sites but in 2017 I made over £4000 from them. I spent around an hour a day working on them. Some days (even weeks) I did nothing at all. But the best time I spent was reading, learning and listening to others, and not expecting to become an expert overnight.

From the people in our Facebook group I learned things no-one else had told me:

- Running the video apps on Swagbucks every day makes a lot of difference
- Bonuses are worth more than your day to day earnings for a lot of sites
- Some sites you have to check as often as possible because they won't email you
- You don't have to spend hours doing surveys
- Sometimes it's worth spending money to make money
- Sometimes a site just isn't for you
- and so much more.

Don't get me wrong, when I started I wanted quick and easy as well. But until I learned what I was doing, most of the sites simply weren't.

Forgive me, I know I sound harsh, but unless you are willing to put the effort in to learn, and have people around you that can help, quick and easy is the pipedream it sounds...

Swagbucks minitip - Putting the Swagcode into the Swagbutton

A bit of confusion about the putting the swag code in via the swagbutton to tick off a square on swago today. This needs to be done on a laptop or desktop computer, you can't get the extension on a phone.

First you need to install the swagbutton on your Chrome browser http://www.swagbucks.com/extension

Then click on the swagbutton:

Then click the swagcode link and insert the code:

This should tick off the square.

Are you ready for Tuesday i-Spy?

It's an i-Spy day, starting today at 6pm! Usually codes would be released at 6, 8, 10 and 12 so it's ideal if you're a night owl!
Here's what Swagbucks have to say:
Remember to put the code into the swagbutton or app to get points for your team!
Here’s how to participate in iSpy Search:
  • Throughout the day we will tweet clues via @swagbucks on Twitter with a Swag Search link to help you spot the answer (remember to click the Swag Search link, aside from spotting the answer you might just get a search win).
  • Once you have the answer to the clue, enter it into the Swag Code box in ALL CAPS. If you are among the first x-number of people to enter the code correctly, you will be instantly awarded x-number of SB. The numbers of winners for each clue and the amount of SB won will change but will be announced prior to the question.
  • Each question has a new batch of winners – you have the potential to win a total of 16 SB today from iSpy Search alone! Each question is open to all Swagbucks members in all countries.
  • Please do not share the iSpy Search answers on Facebook, Twitter, Reddit, or other social media channels. These are wholly different than our daily Swag Codes and are for our users who do the work. Similarly, there will be neither mobile push notifications nor SwagButton notification when the answers are active.
Hints on how to win:
  • Follow @Swagbucks on Twitter.
  • Use the Swag Search link in the clue to find the answer (and possibly get a search win)
Today’s iSpy Search breakdown:
  • The first 4,000 people to enter the correct answer in the Swag Code box to the first iSpy Search today will win 3 SB.
  • The first 3,000 people to enter the correct answer in the Swag Code box to the second iSpy Search today will win 4 SB.
  • The first 2,500 people to enter the correct answer in the Swag Code box to the third iSpy Search today will win 5 SB.
  • The first 3,000 people to enter the correct answer in the Swag Code box to the fourth iSpy Search today will win 4 SB.
